KYB Bump Stop Kit Installation Instructions:

1. Disassemble the strut and remove bump stop from the strut. Caution: In some instances the bump stop may be bonded to the upper mount and as such should be removed.
2. Click the plastic retaining ring (1) into the recess of the bump stop.
3. Attach the bellows (3) to the bump stop (4) by sliding the retaining ring into the internal groove inside the boot at (2).
4. Slide the new bump stop and bellows over the piston rod, facing the open end of the bellows down.
5. Connect the bottom of the bellows to the top to the strut housing the cable tie (5). Make sure the strut is fully extended.
6. Reassemble the strut in the reverse order ready for installation into the vehicle.
