Booking in a strut replacement job should be straightforward but be prepared for other hidden surprises. By the time a car has reached 80,000km, strut fluid will have passed through its internal valves over 75 million times, causing gradual wear and deterioration. This means the struts are no longer providing the correct damping force required to keep car tyres safely in contact with the road – negatively affecting braking and steering performance. In addition, a strut operating in a weakened state will also put more stress on other suspension components, effectively reducing their operational lifespan. Replacing the strut, dust boot and bump stop at the same time will allow you to save on labour time and help to avoid further problems- with the kits coming complete with everything you need in the one box.

KYB Suspension Mounting Kits contain all the components that are required for correct installation, such as struts mounts, bearings, mounting plates, mounting nuts & bolts. The upper strut mount supports and bearings are recommended to be replaced at each change of a strut - as they actively raise vehicle safety and comfort.

By reducing unwanted vehicle body roll, pitch and nose diving, Ultra SR shock absorbers are designed to achieve superior damping forces compared to original equipment.
When installed, a vehicle will demonstrate better handling response, greater stability, and shorter braking distances. Additionally, Ultra SR technology self-adjusts to prevent damping forces from becoming excessive, ensuring pleasurable, fatigue-free, long-distance driving.
